Don't fall for the 680 bait and switch I was all ready to come work for them and still wish that it would have worked out but they dangle the 680 in front of your face to get you to apply when they know there not going to put me in one I would have made an excellent driver for them but if you smoke you won't get one they will put a rookie that don't smoke in one but not a safe veteran ........I don't know if Baylor is a good company to work for or not I checked them out the best I could and was ready to come work for them but I wasn't going to drive no Volvo ........Arnie out of the 4 new hires that got 680 how many of them smokes? Probably 0. I'd would come work for them if they had one of those 680s for me...but that's not going to happen or never was
My time at Baylor has been wonderful I’m teaming with a buddy and we stay busy. The only time this truck has stopped is for fuel and showers and once for about 4 hours just because we got to a delivery early. The staff here are wonderful and will do anything to help u out to be successful. Cari the owner is one of the most compassionate people I’ve met and truly cares for ALL of her employees and drivers. She offers us outstanding trucks that are fully loaded with everything you need out here. The mechanics also do a awesome job at keeping equipment maintained. Our dm Casey is by far the best ever he keeps us super busy and knows what loads to give us that makes our schedules work. I have definitely found my new home here at Baylor trucking.
This is a family owned company that believes in those values, and it is nice to know that no matter who you are in the company, the owner will know your name and take time to talk with you as a person. Yes, trucking is hard work and it changes by the minute it seems, and they expect the best out of you, but in the end if you do your best you are and will be appreciated.
I have been here since February of 2017, and I definitely have found my home. I've only had a couple small complaints and they have been fixed right away. Miss Cari is by far the best boss and owner hands down, she cares so much about her drivers and employees. I have the best dm ever he knows how to run me, what I can't do and knows how to watch my hours.. I always get home when I request. just started doing team and we haven't sat at all, this truck has moved from day one. arnie and Abby in recruiting are outstanding and will answer all your questions and if they don't know they will have it within a day.. the shop personnel is outstanding. you can make a phone call to anyone here from the drivers up to the owner.. definitely a amazing place to work.
This has been by far a great company to work for. Your a person not just a number to them.
Just like with any company you have your good and bad days. What i like is on bad days i can call talk to anyone and they listen. This means a lot to me.
